Country Club Park
Country Club Park was established in 1937 under the auspices of the Federal Housing Administration. Consistent with FHA standards, the neighborhood was laid out with curved streets, standardized building placement and a 2-½ acre park in the center. Also dictated by the FHA was the style of homes to be used in the development. The Ranch style and it's various versions such as French Provincial, California and Transition Ranch account for the architectural style of ninety-seven percent of the 142 homes in the area. Today, Country Club Park has transformed itself from a wartime housing development into a vibrant, close-knit community.
