Diamond Street

The forty-four residences in this neighborhood were built as a result of a partnership between contractor Wright Davis and A.B. Angle Lumber Company. It was one of the many post-Depression era relationships that formed under the auspices of the FHA. The street of Period Revival and Ranch-style homes is a gem in an otherwise struggling neighborhood. It was designated as historic in 1997.
