North Garfield Historic District of Phoenix

North Garfield contains a noteworthy concentration of late 19th and early 20th century architectural styles. The majority of the homes are modest bungalow and period revivals but examples of the rare Colonial Revival and Prairie style homes are also present. A wide range of building materials are present including brick, concrete block, wood siding, shingles and adobe. This community also shows the influence of the streetcar neighborhood.
